A&P Breaks Ground on Minnesota Veterans Home Nursing Care Building

06/15/2010
Adolfson & Peterson Construction (A&P) broke ground recently on the new Minnesota Veterans Home Minneapolis campus 100-bed nursing care building. The new four-story facility incorporates designs that optimize resident-centered care. The facility will include a town center (complete with an indoor garden, community room, chapel and administrative offices), as well as resident rooms and other dining and living facilities.

Construction of the $24 million building, which occurs on an active campus, will last nearly two years. A&P is handling construction; Horty Elving is the project architect.
