This project consisted of a 12,160 square foot commercial building for sales of the "Mini" automobile, complete with associated sitework. The design of the facility was influenced by a number of unique factors: an L-shaped site, prominent visibility along I-5, and requirements for vehicle circulation, parking and display—all while maintaining compliance with Mini Corporation's design guidelines. The building area required careful pre-loading of the site to ensure stability above the soft, native valley soils.  Inside the building, high quality interior finishes focused visitors' attention on the sales and display area.

Rushforth's Team Build process was key to this project's success, from initial preconstruction involvement with Helix Design Group, to the coordination of subcontractors during design-build of the mechanical and electrical systems.  The entire process was completed within seven months in order to correspond to the arrival date of the Northwest's first shipment of Mini Coopers.
