Second and Lenora

Seattle, Washington

Located in Seattle's trendy Belltown neighborhood, this five-story, $14.7 million building includes 107 apartments, 7,389 sf of retail space, and 108 below-grade parking stalls. Early on in the process, our staff attended community meetings to present the project and receive comments, resulting in a building that was well received by the community.  During construction, a tower crane was used for efficiency in the confined space, positioning the construction site office, work preparation, and storage platforms over the sidewalks to allow ongoing pedestrian traffic. The completed exterior building design utilizes architectural concrete, stucco and Hardi panels, with ceramic tile at the window heads and a metal cornice for accents. Aluminum storefront was used in the commercial sections to enhance the overall presentation of the building, while over-sized vinyl windows provide a distinctive feature that mimics the old style of the nearby Terminal Sales Building.
