Tacoma, WA--Mason County Public Utility District #3 has awarded Rushforth Construction the construction of its 22-acre Johns Prairie Operations Center. The project, which is targeting LEED® Gold certification, will consist of five separate buildings totaling 142,000 square feet. Work is scheduled to begin August 6, 2010. The Tacoma-based firm of TCF Architecture is providing design services.
Tacoma, WA--MultiCare Health Systems has selected Rushforth Construction to renovate two floors of the Pacific Horizon Building in Tacoma. The 23,000 square foot renovation will begin July 19, 2010. Tacoma-based BCRA is the design firm on the project.

The 4-story, 71,833 square foot hotel will be built over an elevated parking structure. The year-long construction project is set to begin August 1, 2010. The design firm of JRA Architects will provide architectural services.
Tacoma, Washington--Rushforth Construction has been awarded a project to build a new 66,000 square foot Fairfield Inn in Puyallup, Washington. The project involves the construction of a 120-room, 5 story hotel and 125 parking stalls on 2.75 acres. Construction will begin July 15, 2010, with completion expected in May 2011. The project architect will be the Seattle design firm of Murphy/Varey.
Tacoma, Washington--Rushforth Construction has been selected to build the new Pyramid Peak medical office building in Puyallup, Washington. The project includes the construction of a 7,200 square foot shell-and-core structure with a daylight basement, and a 2,600 square foot ambulatory surgery center tenant improvement. Construction is set to begin July 12, 2010, with completion expected in January 2011.
Tacoma, Washington--Rushforth Construction has been selected to build a new fuel station for the Puyallup Tribe in Fife, Washington. The project will include a 10,000 to 12,000 square foot market, 24-pump fuel station, car wash, and a 70-foot pedestrian bridge. Five acres of site development is also included. Preconstruction work will begin in May 2010, with construction expected to start in August 2010.
Tacoma,Washington--Tacoma Goodwill Industries has selected Rushforth Construction to complete the tenant improvements to its operations warehouse. The project includes the addition of new bathrooms and break room facilities, as well as office space and conference rooms to support the warehouse operations. The three-month project is set to begin in May 2010.

Included in the project is the addition of a clerestory, entry façade and canopy, and various interior improvements. The three-month project is expected to start in February 2010.
